Memphis temple
We took Paxton through the temple today!
I have no idea why we didn’t take a picture together.
There is nothing like waiting in the Celestial room for your child to enter. I imagine it’s a lot like welcoming your family into Heaven when they arrive. It was an emotional and special experience. I will never forget it. I hope that Paxton doesn’t either.

Top of the pyramid
The Bass Pro shops Pyramid in Memphis has a balcony at the top. You can see Memphis, Arkansas and Mississippi from the top.
The kids went and did this together. Shelby has been waiting to go and Paxton decided to take them. The bridge there is over the Mississippi River and the other side of it is Arkansas when Ryan comes home from driving he always gets excited to see those lights because it’s means he’s home!

Pax is officially a Cougar! He received his acceptance letter today! I meant to take a video but we took it all in together instead. I think we were all a little teary eyed!

Scout the squirrel
This baby squirrel fell out of its nest, in our garage… Ryan took it outside but of course Shelby fell in love and needed to take care of him. His name is Scout. We have blended sweet potatoes and kale, given him water and there have been hours of cuddling. He just squirms into Shelby’s jacket pocket and lives there. We have all kind of fallen in love with him!
